The Essentials three plus whipped shea and cocoa butter in the same blend. Dry skin sheds a scent fast, so the butter is what gives it something to hold onto.

The bar puts the blend on your skin. The problem is that skin which has just been washed and dried is the worst surface for holding anything, which is why a scent that was obvious at eight is gone by eleven.

Body butter is what fixes that, and it is the only thing this box adds over the Essentials Kit. Whipped shea and cocoa butter with aloe, coconut and rosehip oils, carrying the same blend as the rest of the box, so the layers reinforce each other rather than stacking two fragrances on you.

What does this add over the Essentials Kit?

Body butter, in the same blend as everything else in the box. The bar, the deodorant and the solid cologne are identical to the Essentials Kit.

Why does body butter belong in a scent routine?

Dry skin loses a scent faster than conditioned skin does. The butter keeps your skin in a state that holds the blend, which is why it is in the box rather than sold as an afterthought. Work a coin-sized scoop in while the skin is still warm from the shower.

Can I mix blends inside one box?

No. Each box is a single blend, and that is the point: the four layers reinforce each other instead of putting two fragrances on you. If you want more than one blend, order more than one box or build your own bundle.

Is this the box that used to be called the Alpha Stack?

Yes. Only the name changed. Alpha is the name of Durden's blend, so calling the whole tier the Alpha Stack made the Bond and Maverick versions read as something they are not.
